I was going to Dental School...
I wasn't always fit. In fact, In high school, I was 244lbs and had a size 44-waist! It was uncomfortable, embarrassing, and unhealthy.
Luckily, I had to take classes in Exercise Science as a prerequisite for Dental School and I was intrigued by learning how the body worked.
So I decided to change my major from Pre-Med to Exercise Science, where I earned a doctorate degree and continued my passion by earning a master's degree in Nutrition. The combination of learning the right exercise and the right food, along with a desire to be fit, helped me to lose 69-lbs which I have maintained for over 30-years.
Quickly learning that health clubs, gyms, and personal trainers were ill-equipped to adequately help individuals achieve long-term success, I traveled the country in pursuit of designing the best practices and systems to improve individuals' health, fitness, and lifestyle with lasting results.
For nearly three decades, I’ve written 9-books, contributed to the USA Today and appeared in over 1200-TV shows in WNY and around the country, and helped thousands of adults lose weight and get fit… even if they have orthopedic injuries, medical limitations, or simply haven’t succeeded with anything else.
